Non-invasive, Safe Examinations
Fetal monitoring is important to diagnose abnormalities that can occur during pregnancy. If detected in time, these might be resolved before further complications.
The fetal signal volume is only one-sixth of the mother's and so far it could be measured only by a CTG (cardiotocography) which is in current clinical practice obtained via either an invasive scalp electrode, or via non-invasive Doppler ultrasound technology that might be inaccurate and can suffer from loss of signal, in particular in women with high body mass, during motion, or in preterm pregnancies.
Axalton Fetal ECG is able to detect very small mV signals, which is a huge step towards fetal health and prevention.

As Axalton Med Tech`s other projects, we are aiming to create an advanced clinical and at-home diagnostic device that increases both the doctors' and the patients' comfort by the mobility of the device, with the option of automated diagnostics and real-time monitoring.
